Hi! I’m Hallie 👋
I’m 13, an only child, a bit of a bookworm, and I’ve been traveling with my parents for as long as I can remember. Every year, we visit new cities, try new things, explore cool places, and somehow end up on a ghost tour whenever we can find one.
After years of traveling together, we decided it would be fun to create a place where I could share some of my favorite experiences—and Hallie Travels was born!
Here you’ll find family travel guides and honest reviews from a teen’s point of view, including places that are actually worth visiting, things kids and teens will enjoy, cool museums and attractions, family-friendly ghost tours, fun souvenirs, and ideas for making trips more memorable.
But this blog isn’t just about travel. I love to read, so I’ll also be sharing book reviews and book recommendations for tweens and teens, along with crafts, packing lists, travel tips, fun finds, and whatever else I’m into at the moment.
Why I Started Hallie Travels
My parents wanted me to find a way to make some of my screen time more creative and meaningful. Instead of just scrolling, I’m learning how to build a website, write about things I love, take and choose photos, create content, and share something of my own with friends, family, and other kids who love to explore.
Most of all, Hallie Travels is supposed to be fun. Let me repeat that. FUN!
It’s a place to keep track of the places I’ve been, the books I’ve loved, the spooky stories I’ve heard, and all the little things that make a trip memorable.
I also want to get PR, but my parents let me know that I need to post a ton of content every day for years to make that happen…but I can hope, right?! Apparently this doesn’t happen overnight for the people I follow on shorts and reels.
